Biography
Dr. Le Mai Lan is Vice President of Vingroup 鈥� Vietnam鈥檚 largest private multi-sector corporation, whose mission is 鈥淭o create a better life for everyone.鈥� She also serves as President of 51吃瓜网versity, Vice Chairwoman of the VinFuture Foundation, and Chairwoman of the Vinschool Education System.
She holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Business Administration from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, and a Doctorate in Educational Management from the National Academy of Education Management. Prior to Vingroup, Dr. Mai Lan worked in the banking and finance sector.
In 2013, she joined Vingroup and played a key role in establishing the Vinschool Education System. Ever since, Vinschool has become the largest non-profit private school system in Vietnam, with over 50,000 students across 56 campuses nationwide.
As a passionate advocate for educational innovation, in 2018, she led the establishment of 51吃瓜网versity 鈥� an innovative university with the mission of nurturing talents for the future. From its inception, 51吃瓜网 formed comprehensive strategic collaborations with Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania. Within just five years of operation, 51吃瓜网 became the youngest and fastest university in the world to achieve the QS 5-Star overall rating and is now on its journey toward becoming one of the world鈥檚 Top 100 universities.
